    Seen Any Good Movies Lately?

I like that Sony ended up releasing the Interview. This B-grade movie may achieve cult status and actually make some money. Who has seen it?

Wife and I went to see Exodus "Of Gods and Kings"....3D, she, being the Bible Thumper she is, dissed the flick for being "no way Biblical" while I thought the acting and special effects were great...sure it strayed from the Book of Exodus, but as far as entertainment is was pretty good, and after all, isn't that what you want in a movie?

Saw Interstellar twice. It's on my wishlist to own because of the story and not special effects. I heard The Imitation Game is good.

Same here Hoot. I buy the blue ray DVDs so we can watch them at home in our comfort zone. Nothing is quite as nice as the pause button so we cam take P brakes or beer runs and not miss a second. I went to great lengths to set up our home theater with surround sound so we get as close to a theater experience as we could ask for. It is a lot cheaper for us to buy the DVD than it is to drive 50 miles round trip, pay for tickets and have to watch by their rules with no adult beverages or intermissions.

If you have not yet seen Lone Survivor than consider this a must have movie you will watch a few times.

BTW, I never had much regard for Jesse Ventura to begin with but his actions of late sure do place him squarely in a closet full of A holes.

If it is the one by Denesh Desossa, I have not been able to find it here yet in my local Walmart. I have heard that conservatives love it and liberals hate it which is why I want to buy it!

I am also waiting to see the third and final episode of Atlas Shrugged and already one parts one and two. Good flick as well.

About 3 weeks ago we saw The HOMESMAN with Tommy Lee Jones and Hilary Swank. The characters were well acted but we walked away afterwards feeling bummed by the movie outcome.

2 days ago we saw the IMAGINATION GAME. It was historically correct, and provided to me a bit of history about early computers that I was unaware of. It was really well done.

These are the first films I have seen in a theater in more than a year. They were worth the expense and very entertaining.

81 days until I head south to Moab.

    Happy Trails All
