    Thunderbirds are buzzing me.

    I live near Luke AFB and the Thunderbirds are buzzing around my house so it is almost kickoff.

    That was cool! I am N/W of the stadium five miles away towards the end of the national anthem the planes went right over my house and then I look at the TV and there they were.

    Had a P-51 fly over my work several times Friday. No Super Bowl but it sounded good just the same.

    True, I was an ABE2 when I got out of the navy, catapults and arresting gear on the USS Coral Sea, then 2 years on the Enterprise, out of all the planes we launched, afterburning or not, the loudest and most earth shaking....er boat shaking was the EA-6B Prowler. A non afterburning twin J52 P&W monster. It would vibrate every cell in your body. Even more than the Phantoms or the Crusaders which were afterburning jets. I miss the kerosene smell sometimes when I watch them fly around here. TW2013 and I live not far from joint base Lewis/McChord. The occasional Osprey flyby is kind of cool too. The sound of freedom.
