    Power Ball Fever...

Don't have the itch...never really have had the itch...sometimes if I get topped off at the local Marathon Fuel Outlet and have an extra buck I will put it down on the Rolling Cash game in Ohio, which usually pays out at the $100,000+ range depending on when it was last won...I did hit 4 of 5 a few years back and collected $250, never more than a $10 winner since, but then again I only play it maybe a handful or 2 handfuls a year.

So seeing gas prices rise back towards the $2.35 a gallon range this morning, I topped off my Nitro, and had some spare change...picked up a Rolling Cash, then noted the Power Ball was nearing 1/2 Billion, yep with a B Dollars...I'm thinking at any age, that much money would be a pain in the ass not worth having, and at my age, especially so...but having a few extra ones in my hand, I puked out $2 for a 193 million to one shot at the BIG BUCKS....

Powerball jackpot hits $500 million for Wednesday drawing

If I win...New TWs for the entire damn forum....

I don't play the stuff. They said the chances are only 1 in 100,000 to be elected president, so i'm going for that instead! IF you do win, please go to Yamaha motors and pay them whatever it takes for the development and production of a fuel-injected, six speed TW250!

Me too. $6 dollar donation. If I win you won't hear from me again. I'll be riding from one of my cabins to another...by mule! I always wanted to be a cowboy!

I should clarify. It's because I won't have cell or interweb service, not because of you'all!

Hidden Content A ride in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact I'm dragging a body should be entirely irrelevant?

After each drawing I buy another $2 quick pick ticket. I then drive around all day thinking about ways to empower people if I win. It's therapy. Some days those are the only positive thoughts I have.

Well, $500m winnings will cash option about $338m, and taxes will take ~39%, leaving ~$206m. Well invested, one can expect to earn enough to keep up with the rate of inflation, plus about 5% after taxes. What you're really looking at is about $28,200 a day bottom line, unless you want to spend your principle and end up broke.
