    The Aftervalentine Hayflat Waterskating Wonderland

    A fun video of skating about 20 miles the day after valentines. The last little bit features some humorous waterskating. This trip brough my total for the season to 1012 miles. Im going to sew a little roman numeral "M"and sew it on my coat like a boy scout. It stands for 1000 miles.

    Looks like fun. ( and good exercise ) I have never seen skates like those. What is the name / type? Dave

    Theyre called Nordic Skates. Real popular in sweden and holland and nearly unknown anywhere else. They use a regualr nordic ski boot and binding. Real easy to clip off and walk.

    They kind of remind me of some downhill skiers who telemark the slopes. ( the heels also are free to rise )
