    How about that TW-sized tank? Supposedly, McQueen did his own stunt rides in The Great Escape. After seeing this, I believe it!

    I was introduced to "HanK" over the fuel tank of a mutual friend's Husky at the start of a desert race. Due to differences in our bikes, body sizes, and abilities, "Hank" and I had a very competitive 100-mile race, finishing fractions of a second apart. Only after the race ended was I told "Hank" was really Steve. The man could ride.

    Hank or Harvey Mushman was indeed a very good rider and racer. Bud Elkens was his stunt double and did the fence jump in the movie however.

    Only because the producers couldn't get insurance to cover their losses if Steve hurt himself doing it himself. I saw him get more air than that riding across the desert.
