    The Cat Thread

We should have a thread where we can make fun of cats. They deserve it. Cro can always come to their rescue if we show too much feline disrespect.

I have to tell you Fred that I am no longer a fan of cats. My Daughter wanted a cat, so a few years back we went to a rescue organization and she picked one out. The cat is not nice, it thinks we all should be thanking it for the privilege of living with it. Well, it got used to me coming downstairs at 0540 for work. One day my alarm did not go off and the cat came and woke me up at 0545. I was very appreciative and the cat knew it. Now November comes around, my full time job is over until spring, and she still wakes me up at 0545 EVERY DAY!!! It's easy you say, close the bedroom door and don't let the cat in. It's not that easy, the cat scratches at the door at 0545 if I do that. Now I leave the door open, the cat comes and wakes me up and I go back to sleep with a cat laying on my chest. I have done a great job training my dog, my cat has done a great job training me.

The Grey Cat does that...had to put a latch on the outside, she can jump up and unlock the damn bedroom door{upstairs}...I have the solution in hand though...her food, box, bed, and water are downstairs in the basement....and at 11pm that is where she goes until I get up in the morning....

They have an uncanny sense of "time". My cat will jump up on our bed (if she's already not laying there) about 1 minute before my alarm goes off at 5:40 each morning. Our last cat did it too.

My new kitten Luna ( a.k.a. Lunatic) takes over my laptop's keyboard because it is warm. She creates havoc at time and I have a devilish time undoing her reprogramming. Maybe qwerty has something with his fish tank, don't think a goldfish would do this:
