    1st John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

    John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    John 3:17
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Here is one of the few benefits of getting old. A lifetime senior pass for all national parks and federal recreational lands.

The day I turned 62, I went to the nearest national park and plopped down $10.00. Now every day is free !

I bought my first Annual Interagency Pass (don't quite qualify for the senior pass yet!) late last year. Although not cheap it is a great value, and I find that by having one I'm more inclined to plan my trips to include places where I can use it. Plus, it feels good to literally be a card-carrying supporter of our national lands.

I hung mine up from the rearview when I parked this morning for a run at Sabino Canyon. Gotta let the moochers know that there are a few regulars in their midst!

The annual pass can be a good thing. While I have not necessarily saved money with the passes, they certainly have encouraged me to try to visit as many as possible while trying to break even.
