Another good story. Good friend of mine was fishing from boat launch dock in Schuylerville, NY (at the catch and release section of the Hudson) at dusk with a jitterbug for smallies and hooked a monster. Fought it for awhile and got it next to the dock. He wasn't sure if it was pike or musky it was dark, but it was an inch or two longer than the dock which was 4 feet wide. He was so excited he wasn't sure what to do, he didn't have a net, and didn't want to lose a hand. While he was considering this the fish snapped its head and broke 20lb braid, and slowly swam a few feet away with the lure still in its mouth, then turned around and faced him. JAWS!!!

Nice pair of smallies. Were they caught in Indiana or Michigan? Or elsewhere?

Off Drummond Island. Where this dambed Cabin on Wheels is going if I ever get it done. Worked on it all day today with my buddy Chuck...OK, we worked on it kind of all day...killed a case of Corona in the process.

Not really. They are a blast to catch and would make a turd if there were nothing better. Some people like them if they are pulled from cold water.
