    Question for the ladies...

    So, I've been having issues. My husband has apparently noticed, too. I would like y'alls advice about how u or the other ladies you know deal with it.
    I'm brand new to riding, so please excuse my extremely novice question.
    This was the last haircut I got. It was about 11 months ago, and my hair grows very slow.

    It's just now at the bushy stage, and long enough for a tiny pony tail with clippies to assist. Its really hard keeping it out of my face when I put on my helmet, and horrible when I take it back off. I was trying to grow it out for my hubs since he hasn't seen it long since we were kids, but he even suggested cutting it to help with the hair issues.

    How long is y'alls hair, and what do you do to help with helmet issues? What I've got going on right now kinda bites. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Some of us blokes (used to) have long hair as well you know

    Just tuck it into the bit where your forehead meets the helmet - means an extra 5 seconds before you can put your gloves on - but hey .......

    There's a technique to putting a helmet on - you'll get there

    Such are the challenges of a "biker chick".

    Reminds me of Admirals thread~"Does this bike make my butt look big?" ha ha

    That almost looks like a "hickory logging" shirt hubby is wearing...?

    Glad to see all the Forum "Ladies" responding

    But as Purple said, some of us guys had long hair back in the day....of course mine never saw a brush or comb for years after my post Air Force Days....washed it everyday and let the wind have at it....but I don't remember it every being a problem back in the early riding days of my life in the Mid 1970s

    And yes looking at that 2nd photo at my sister's wedding in 1973....I do think to myself...WTF was I thinking? But in my defense I was 10 months removed from the Air Force and vowed not to get a haircut for 1 year after my discharge{which by the way was 43 years ago today May 5, 1972....}

    OK< OK<

    Nice work, Mike. I was going to say a bandana or a skull cap first, then pull on the helmet. I've never been confused for a lady, so I wasn't sure if I could answer. Confused by a lady...

    Speaking as a "Mendocino" county hippie, I have had to deal with the challenge of keeping my freak flag under the helmet!
    Two years ago when my hair was down to the middle of my back, (not bad for a guy of 50) I used to tie it up in thick bands. This was uncomfortable, as there was always a big knot pushing on the back of my head...

    TWilight's suggestion / answer looks to be the best! As for me I need a hair cut! m.
