    Tennessee dream is DEAD!!

Sorry for this rant but I just got the news our cottage and barn were broken into last night. Here's the thing there was nothing worth taking! If bastards got anything it was some hand tools a couple of
camp chairs and maybe a roll of romex wire. Local Police say they broke the windows into the house and barn and used a battery powered lamp to look around. The lamp was found still on at the second level
and several finger prints were recovered. Being as this is the second time stuff has been taken from our place along with dealing with crooked builders we are done! The White Trash Meth Heads have killed
    our dream.

That sucks man, sorry for your misfortune. I'd set up some trail cams in good hiding spots and catch the bastards.

Problem with trail cams is the closest tree is about 100 yards away and I don't think the batteries last six months. Maybe the fingerprints and other things found will help catch there jerks but being methheads it won't get our stuff back or any restitution. Looks like the best thing we can do is load up the truck and trailer with everything there and sell the place.

Don't let em beat ya! Don't keep anything valuable there, keep the insurance paid up to date, & keep a side arm on you while visiting!

Man, this is bad news. Hopefully no more damage other than the windows, but I suspect there's more.

Don't get me wrong there are some great people there but with everything we have gone through it's just not worth it. That said maybe if we get enough money I'll be able to afford a few new farkles for the Dub.

That just sucks. You are lucky to live somewhere where police actually take the time to do a fingerprint investigation. In many locations they would never do that for just a burglary. I hope they catch them.

Just FYI: My trail cam batteries last about 8 months.

Where is your property in Tennessee, if I may ask? I live in Sevier County-Smoky Mtns. area, and break ins are commonplace here. Everybody i know sets up trail cams and they really help catch'em.

Time for jurors to say no to prosecutors for trying a man for shooting a thief. We wouldn't have such a problem if they knew the law wasn't on their side.
