Meet Rainbow Joe
He has been helping me with a little consumer satisfaction survey. He and his school-mates show a decided preference for worms and bugs from my window sills over PowerBait or fancy store bought salmon eggs. The local trout seem to like the organic stuff over commercial bait. They might not be used to hatchery food pellets or they ,ight just be Yuppies from the California side of the drainage...I'll try giving them tofu tomorrow

Rainbow Joe is a little shy of dog and any movement.
P.S. I am just tossing food in to see if I can get a rise out of Joe. No hook, line and sinker.I do save the larvae and grubs I find while spliting firewood and use them for bait later in the season.
