    New lift stand

I didn't tweak my back putting my bike on the box I made last weekend, but it let me know I was close! I had to get something, and I wanted one that was easy to use, allowed access to both sides of the bike and is usable for almost any bike.

I'm pretty happy with it, it's very sturdy, stable and easy to use. The amazon description says it goes to 13" but I've have had it up to 15".

Takes a 22mm socket to drive it and my little cheap drill has plenty of power for it.

    Capacity is 1100 lbs.

Nice find Indiana. That's the best space saving jack I've ever seen. Looks like the guy could have used a piece or two of 2X8 to get his bike up a little higher.

The guy is me and I didn't run the jack all the way up. I was too focused on not making the video too long and didn't bother to check that BOTH wheels were off the ground. But yes, a piece of 2x12 or whatever you happen to have would do nicely.

This could be handy for lots of other things....lawn mowers, temporary third hand to hold something at a needed height during construction/fabrication, spreading things apart, and so on...
