    Navajo sandstone.

    I think Fred could ride up that wall and help these guys out. Massive rock threatening to crash into base of Arizona dam

    I think gravity will eventually win and the rock will come down. Imagine proposals to bring slab down in a controlled fashion have been considered and rejected. To hold in place leaves a potential hazard to occur unpredictably in the future. I say pin in place for now until rafting season over, then drill and blast successive managable sections down.

    That's a bad problem. I think they need to take it down, it's dangerous. It would have already fallen, it's hung up. It could come down so easily right now.

    Terrible dust storms in Paul's Phoenix area. Maybe spray glue in the crack and bind back together with fresh windblown sand.from dust storms.
