    Graham Oates and the ride across Canada.

    While you can now ride north of Gillum, there is still no road to Churchill. Graham Oates may still, to this day be the only man to ride a motorcycle to Churchill Manitoba. Tough dude.

    Very interesting! Thanks for posting this. My grandfather worked on the rail line to Churchill in the 30's. And my mom was born in Churchill two years after Graham Oates' trek to that small outpost.

    Borneo your the "modern hero" up here for riding to James Bay on a TW200... everyone is talking about you.... might even be a movie coming out...."Two Wheels and a Boot in the Water"
