Where Christmas came from when I was a boy.

I grew up out in the country. Our local town was quite small. Here is where Christmas came from.

And for you who remember pouring over the old Herter's catalog, I can help you regain a bit of history for a very modest price. https://www.rmurphyknives.com/store/...t-details.html

And post 6,000 will be about a book of some of the finest hunting and fishing stories ever written. I got my copy from the old Field & Stream Book Club back in 1971. Gordon MacQuarrie was a true artist.

Well congratulations on 6000 posts. I must have been too young to remember those but I have fond memories of pouring over the Bass Pro Shops catalog's.

Way back in those days you could find in catalogs, an electric vibrating dildo shaped thing listed as a facial massager that gave deep penetrating relief.
The picture showed a smiling woman holding it to her cheek.

Ok, while PeterB was chasing his right hand around his bedroom (very presumptuous to assume you are right handed, just playing the odds) and Phelonious had moved on to more advanced searches (no internet at the time), I was looking for Tonka's and GI Joe's! Maybe a Fanner 50!
