    Hyundai Accent 2015 base model

My daughter is looking for a new car - base models.
The Hyundais are being blown out right now and are the cheapest new car and have the best warranty.
I have driven a 5 speed manual Nissian Micra and found it noisey compared to the Hyundia at 100 kmph it is at 3000 rpm. The Accent is a 6 speed manual and at 100 kmph it is at 2400 rpm.
I have not had the chance to check out the Chevy Spark.

The reviews I have found online for the Accent claim it is an OK car.
Do any of you have experience with any of these models?

    Thanks

My mother who has far more disposable income than anyone else I know has had a litany of Hyundai vehicles even though she could afford whatever she wants. I had always thought they were starter cars "and the accent is" but after many hours of driving her tiburon I was sold on them. She has their 2016 Genesis now and it is a very well put together vehicle that handles like a dream. I do not know how much they actually sell for but I drove a Kia Soul for several weeks last year and swore if I ever left my job and had to purchase my own vehicle "reasonably priced every day driver" it would be the Soul. Very well designed vehicle that is actually a lot of fun to drive. Korean auto manufacturers have come a long way in the last 20 years.

I was looking at the Accent in in 2012 but went for an Elantra with the 6-speed auto for a few hundred dollars more. Gave up a little gas mileage for more car. No problems in about 50,000 miles and recently traded for a 2016 Tuscon AWD with the 1.6 Turbo and 7 speed Dual Clutch transmission which is an incredible automobile .

Is Toyota still doing the lifetime drivetrain warranty they were doing a little while ago? If so the Yaris might be worth a look. I drove a 5speed one for a two months when my VW was being fixed after an assassination attempt by a dump truck. Not bad little cars apart from being painfully slow. [But I guess all the cars you're looking at suffer from that problem]

I've had a Spark for a rental - loud and slow, seemed cheaply put together. The gauge cluster reminded me of a sport bike's. I've also had a kia forte once for a rental. I drove that thing pretty hard and when I arrived to my Mother's house, it smelled like burning plastic! That was with 7k on the car too, so break in shouldn't have been occurring.

I have 85k miles on my bought new 2010 Yaris 5 door. Great dependable car. Haven't had any issues with it. Put brakes on it last year. 38mpg on the highway. Only complaint is that it's noisy at highway speeds compared to more expensive cars and it doesn't show outside temperature.

She bought the accent today. We did not bother looking at the Chevy.
She wanted an inexpensive new car. $11800 out the door all taxes in.
The Chevy and Nissian were $9995 then $1600 freight and then PDI of ~ $400 and then documentation ranging between $400 to $700 and then 12% tax and who knows what other fees.
She just had to upgrade her insurance.
