Ban Guns! They make holes in paper!

Yes, guns have been hurting paper for years.

For example, my PTR 91 (which I lost in a tragic ice fishing accident on Lake Mille Lacs) made these nasty holes at 100 yards with WOLF steel ammo and a Leopold 1x4 scope...how mean!

What holes have you come across?

And my Kimber and friend's Browning putting dual-inaccurate holes in paper king Joffrey [out of frame]at James Peak in Colorado.

Paper plate on an old empty refrigerator cardboard box; 30/06 jacketed boat tail; 1000 verified feet away; 3 out of 3 shots on paper; couldn't even see the plate and barely the box without the scope; in the Grand Junction, CO desert north of town; long long time ago; and no pics, sorry. Couldn't shoot my own foot nowadays; I'm over the hill; way over; end of story; and true.

I've sent many a wad cutter down range to end the life of a B27 target. That and a bunch of bowling pins. That was a long time ago,now I don't remember what end of the gun to point down range.

This was comparing my new S&W Shield 9mm to my Ruger MKI .22. The .22 is much easier to put on target with an awesome trigger, 5" barrel and much tamer recoil! Now my Ruger SR45 with laser, is pretty damn accurate to 25yds (about the same is the .22), but I didn't have that one with me this week. Almost all the shots outside the rings were at 15 yds. Inside the rings, 7 yds. I did ride my TW to the range btw.

Took my 8 year old son out again. He loves 300blk subsonic and really put a hurtin' on the paper.

In no time, he will be better than his old man. It is great to train gun safety and good habits at a young age.

I lost this rifle while on a cruise on Lake Superior.

The shield is a little on the snappy side but its a good accurate gun. I love mine, carry it daily. If you want to make the trigger a little better with crisper break and reset put an apex duty carry kit in it.

Here is one from my Sheild, all the way from the end of the indoor range which is ~15 yards.

    This will get it done...

I've killed my share of paper but for a few years enjoyed killing innocent clay pigeons. I was competing in local tournaments to do this dastardly act!
