    I could see doing this.....but then there is the saying about many old pilots, many bold pilots, but few old bold pilots .

    I have the plans for that plane. It took the fly in at Valdez. Is a take off of the fiesler storch a german design of WWII

    I know the pilot, Steve Henry from a fly in near Yearinton / Black Rock Desert. He is quite the stick. I think he was training the Alaska competition in STOL.

    Another great backcountry pilot is Pops Dory. Check out a video he did. Quite a feat over 10,000 feet in a Cub.

    ....and to think of all the money spent on helicopter charters when a simple fixed wing SuperCub could have gotten in and out.

    Here is my bird. I won't be competing with Steve Henry and Pops, but it gets me into the backcountry. It's a TW200 with 190hp and wings.
