Angry I'm the Motorcyclist You're Probably Going to Kill

    1st John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

    John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    John 3:17
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Last week Marian came close to a head-on when a guy in a car was looking down at his phone. The guy was completely in her lane of a two lane road. She had no where to go except to slam on her breaks and lay on the horn. The man looked up at the last second and jerked back into his lane. I could have lost her.
The fixation of the smart phone is insane people are completely addicted to answering the text. It's not going to get better but at least our MD law has made it illegal.
We have a five mile stretch of road between my house an I95 where nine fatalities have occurred over a span of 16 years. We bought our Tacoma off a MD state senator and we became friends. About four years ago I called him up and ask him if he could have Rumble Strips cut on the center line of the road. Three weeks later the job was done and we haven't had any fatalities since that day. I'm proud to say I've probably saved lives.
It's not about being careful out on the road it's only being lucky. The inconsiderate assholes are everywhere.

We all have damned cell-phone stories...
    There oughta be a law!
"Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death."
    - Hunter S. Thompson

“It’s more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than a fast bike slow”.

"The less horsepower a motorcycle has, the more it can teach you.” - Ben Bostrom

And though a mountain may rise up and smack the livin' shit outta me,
and wad up my bike somethin' awful...
    Still, I rise!

Perhaps in your spare time you could find a place where mobile phone drivers are rampant and start video recording them. Then send the videos to the police.
After catching one ,be sure to zoom in on the offenders face and pan down to the license plate.

The law specifically says "law enforcement officers" are exempt from cell phone / texting laws because they have received special training on how to drive while using communication devices.
It's horse shit to say the least.
