Got a new toy the other day - 2002 Honda CBR1100 Super Blackbird.

It's fast, runs hot and you lean forward lots.

    How fast? Look here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kd2-F...eature=related

PITA to commute with, but acceleration is a bit of a buzz.

I've owned around 20 bikes, but never anything this fast. It's stoopid fast. 157,000ks and still runs like a top.

I'm getting up early tomorrow for a spin before watching Casey dominate.

Funny thing is, I picked this bike up the same day I dropped off my 1960s Honda C90 Cub! What a difference!

You are not kidding stooopid fast. I was on the Autobahn in Germany once doing 140-150 mph in a little turbo charged Opel station wagon that belonged to the business partner I was there doing work for. That was fast enough for me. Especially since one of the tires were out of balance and really vibrated at that speed..

    Well done to Stoner!

In pure excitement, we made a flag once he won and went and paraded it on the Honda.

Kath was designated flag waver, but a quick *ahem* take-off from the lights ruined her hard work!

Waved it and rode through town yelling Stoner at people. Sadly, most had no idea.
