    We have many of them down here and yes it's a thrill to see them hit the water.

    Yep, they are all over down here, we have 2 living across the street. They will live inland around lakes also but mostly see them around the bays.

    Great video LT.
    I pay attention to their areas of interest while hunting as I troll from a kayak. Neat to see them struggle with a big trout like in the last dive. They cat really fly well until they get their catch properly positioned aerodynamically like a torpedo.

    I understand that the osprey (seahawk) is the only bird that dives "feet first" down underwater (not just skimming the surface).

    Another fact is that if they hook their talons into a fish too heavy to lift they will drown! Seems they can't release them until they land and take the weight off.

    It's true, they line the fish lengthwise for less wind resistance to carry it.. Great to watch them work.
