Wow! I dated this girl in high school who drove an Audi and one day her car was overheating and accelerating really hard, so i had her pull into a gas station... Being the manly man that I am i wanted a look under her hood Checked the oil and it was bone dry, I think I put atleast three quarts in... Could only imagine how long it'd been since that poor cars last oil change and how much gunk was in there

I drove a Toyota pick-up over 70K without changing the oil. It leaked a quart every 500 miles or so from the day I bought it until the day I sold it. I figured it got an oil change every 2500 miles.

Does he finally say why the owner did not change the oil sooner? I've red a couple pages but he didn't seem inclined to reveal the truth...

Did the exact same thing with a Geo Metro for the same reasons.

Not a single problem was had due to it.

Ugh, those photos make me feel nauseous.

When I worked in a full service gas station (back in the day) a guy in a Porsche (as I recall) asked me to check his oil. His dipstick was totally dry, and when I showed him he said, "Yeah, that light's been on for a while."

My brother in law had a dirt track race car before he married my sister and said Pennzoil would do this after 3 races. Never been a fan of Pennzoil but I think 30 minutes straight in a 350 red lining at 8000 rpm would be hard on any oil though.

That's a man who wanted to make sure he got his money's worth at Jiffy Lube.
