I'd gladly take the 4.23gal tank/fairing/headlight/windshield/dash, and the seat looks pretty comfy as well

I like it because it's a motorcycle. But besides that, it doesn't appeal to me. I'd rather have almost any other bike in the 250 class.
    KJ, just KJ, ok.

I just want some parts from it. It looks too heavy to get around very well with just a 250??

Not available in our market anyway... Probably never will be because we all just want liter+ sportbikes and stuff, right guys?

Sportbikes are everywhere in indiana. I honestly doubt it would sell worth a poo in the states. Most younger guys want a sportbike to be cool and they think because it makes 100+HP it can smoke everything. I dont know how many times ive been in a dealership and seen a young kid who has never even ridden a bike buying 600-1000cc rocket. I seen a guy pull out of the dealership in the winter with a brand new Zrx 1200 ninja and hit the throttle a bit, the bike slid sideways then highsided in the parking lot.

Lol yea a lot of guys just don't understand how a 40 hp supermoto can embarrass a 200 hp liter bike on a twisty mountain road (I'm not one of those guys). Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have a monster crotch rocket, Ducati's new 1199 coming readily to mind... But yea I definitely don't think this 250 Tenere would sell well at all in the U.S. The price, the weight, or simply the fact that it's a 21 horsepower 250 will turn away most U.S. buyers.

The $13000 stated on that article is not U.S. dollars. Still, it IS, in my opinion, definitely overpriced by about two thousand U.S. dollars.

Yeah... to bad they are only available in Brazil & Argentina... maybe someday Yamaha will bring them to the USA... I'd also like to see the Tenere 660 come to the USA... I'd be interested in picking up either one or both...

That price is in Brazilian currency. It equals out to about 6500 American Dollars.
