    Never seen one of these before, so thought I'd share. Pretty cool! Seens to be quite a few nice, vintage bikes for sale around these parts. But they also seem to be commanding pretty good coin...bummer.

    Man, that's a pretty cool bike. Hey, where in Central IL are you? I'm actually heading to Arcola/Tuscola next weekend for a bluegrass festival, though I'll be on my Virago.

    Yep, it's a cool bike. Any guess what the drive mechanism is? It's kinda hard to see in the picture.

    Kind of looks like a friction wheel that you have to engage and disengage on the back wheel. 'bout all I can figure on it.

    It is a belt drive. Left side pic you can see it. One little pully on the engine one big pully on the wheel.
    You never know what you can do until you have to undo something you have done.

    Yep...that's it. The rear pulley is just slightly smaller than the rear wheel itself.
