    Remember 9/11

Have the TV on in the room by my desk. They are reading off the the names of the lost in alphabetical order as they have for the last 16 years. Not sure if that is New York thing or around the country too. Many, many hours of names. I can listen but I can't watch. The babies and children of those lost are now teenagers and now join others at the lectern reading-off the names in a somber tone. At 9:37am the ceremony stopped briefly for bells to be rung indicating the exact time when the plane hit the Pentagon. I saw many large motorcycle groups and clubs riding downtown this morning to show solidarity and sadness. I have done that before but no longer can.
They are only at the letter "G" right now.

At 9:59am, they stopped again, moment of silence to ring bells in remembrance of the Fall of the South Tower.

It's 10:03am as I type this, another Moment of Silence and bells, Flight 93 crashed/was lost.

This is a good reminder that there are still foreign elements that hate America and what it stands for.
