Agreed. I've been reading/watching about this for a few months now. Cast rims....fine for me, being able to ram a plug in a tire would be a nice bonus...and if I break a rim, I'll have way bigger problems to worry about.
Smallish fuel tank for an ADV bike is a bit of a let-down, and it's no lightweight... But the confirmed sticker price is a nice surprise.
I have grand visions of multi-day trips, but in reality the TW is all the bike I need for what I'll be doing (in real life).... Still nice to dream...

I've only found one review where someone actually has ridden one, but the reviews on the 301R are all pretty much good. All sorts of walk-arounds with the 310GS on a stand in a motorcycle show, and hundreds of those stupid 'reviews' that are nothing more than a recycled slide show and an automated voice reading specs off. I'm looking forward to seeing some good reviews once they're actually 'out'.

Nice bike, but I am not a big fan of the low slung exhaust.

The power to weight ratio for the BMW bike plus rider is likely worse than that for a TW. Would this not make for sluggish performance?
