    Aloha from Honolulu

We are getting a break from the cold weather in Maryland. . Marian and I are visiting our daughters in Honolulu and so far itís been a fun filled time.
Our first stop was dinner at Gyu-Kaku Japanese barbecue followed by watching the sunset on Ala Moana beach.

Today we took a two hour Segway tour given free by Mike an owner of the company. Mikes family shop is next door to the Scuba shop where Lauren works. If you ever get a chance to take a spin itís definitely an exciting experience. After the first half hour I was ready for rougher terrain. I couldnít help getting off the beaten path a bit to test its ability.

I was suppose to go spear fishing with Mike today but he has been a little under the weather. Iím hoping he feels better next week because I could seriously get into that.

I bought Lauren a Ram-X and a universal jack so she can charge her phone which we installed on her Yamaha V-Star 250.
She was surprised when I showed her where her tool kit was on the bike.
While showing her how to maintain her bike I discovered she needed distilled water in her battery. Excellent reason for a ride so I followed her on the Scooter while we headed to Walmart. I also bought her a set of sockets so I could teach her more on maintaining her bike.

Iím renting a Sportster Thursday, Friday and Saturday so we can get some real riding in.

Tonight Nicole drove us to the top of a mountain overlooking Honolulu which is an amazing view.

Real nice. Always nostalgic to see Diamond Head.
Gotta be more than 10 years since I have been there. Did a full drive (cage sadly) around the entire coast of the island. Only parts you couldn't go were military bases. Always wanted to on a motorcycle.
Are you going to visit Pearl and the Arizona? Very moving.

We visited Pearl on our last visit 5 years ago. Itís defiantly a moving experience.

Iím not exactly sure where we are going yet, but in about an hour we are going to hike up a mountain and watch the sunrise. Then itís beach day in the sun.

    More pictures to come

Question: Since I got the iPhone 8 my pictures donít seem to upload properly. Do you have to ďselectĒ them to view what I uploaded?

By meaning "Select Them to view what I uploaded?", I have to click on the link to view. Don't put all the blame on your phone though as this forum software has not been right for quite some time. But your picture's did turn out great and selecting them or clicking on them is better than the dreaded "attachment" goes nowhere link we sometimes get from people who try to post pictures.

Hidden Content A ride in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact I'm dragging a body should be entirely irrelevant?

Was the mountain the trip up Tantalus? Great motorcycle ride that one. I lost my brakes coming down Tantalus on a chopped Harley in 81.

Yes it was and we plan to ride it Thursday on motorcycles. Losing your breaks must took some skill because that is a serious hill
