    Thanks for the great article!

    We saw one of Big Daddy's rails in the Smithsonian's American History Museum, in DC, probably 30 years ago. I don't know which one, or why, but I assume it set some kind of record.

    I met him two times, once at an exhibition deal with Shirley Muldowney at an 1/8 mile track where they were making a short hit for the fans, I got to stand right behind the starting line and it was unlike anything I ever experienced. The percussion bouncing off the tower behind us and coming from the cars in front of us was nothing less than intense. Another time at the nationals at Indy while walking the pits. True Legend.
