    Upset in Idaho

While out taking Scoob on a test ride the other day out in the back 40 (BLM land), I spotted this. I can tell you for sure there is no marina out here...at all.

Pardon my upcoming French. People who dump off anything, I mean anything out on our public lands are pieces of shit low life scum ball sucking A-holes with a Capital A.

It's a fairly recent "drop off" as I could still see the tire treads in the dirt. Here you can see where the drop off-ee turned up hill, back up for the dump.

I'd guess the person, scratch that, scumbag, who dropped this off isn't the register owner but I'm posting the pictures of the registration just in case.

I'll be sending pictures and the location to the BLM and local Sheriff.

    Scumbags! Grrrrrrrrr

You get 'em Admiral! Shame you can't do this with the boat like this woman from Russia does with litter.

I noticed a fresh truck load of trash dumped on a favorite road half mile from home while coming back from my Summer Solstice night ride. This desecration and disrespect for the world around us really bother me too.

Yesterday going into a store a noticed a fellow drop some packaging then he carefully picked it all up. I stopped and thanked him on his ethical behavior. Good behavior should be recognized and praised as much as bad behavior should be condemned. Good for you Admiral!

Couldn’t agree more. “The world is my trash can/toilet” attitude really gets my blood boiling.

I'm betting they also save carbon emissions by not driving to the dentist on an annual basis. Or ever maybe.

Years ago when I ran a yearly grass roots effort to clean up the state forests (mostly us jeepers). We found several boats back in there. We towed them "out of the forest", to the dumpsters (well in all truthfulness we towed them all around the forest first, riding in them having a dandy old time... THEN we took them to the dumpsters). I will try to find some pics.

This is simply recycling in the most basic and truest sense.

Material and minerals were taken from the Earth and used by man to make this boat. Now that man is no longer in need of this boat the material it is made from is being returned to the Earth from where it came. In a very short time, geologically speaking, it will break down into its different constituents and be incorporated into the soil. From the Earth and back to the Earth. Recycling at its finest.

I tried to post some pictures of a boat I found along Hwy 9 -- abandoned and tossed off the trailer -- but for some reason unknown to me I can't post pictures.
