UFO geek gets new license plates - ROSWELL

I've long been a sucker for personalized license plates so here's my newest add to my collection

WA state plates with an Aviation theme and Mt Ranier in the background which for a UFO geek is cool because of the Kenneth Arnold "Flying Saucer" sighting near Mt Ranier the week prior to the Roswell incident

Very cool, PlacerLode. Not sure if you saw it in the news last weekend, but the National Solar Observatory at Sun Spot New Mexico (about 85 miles from Roswell) was mysteriously shut down the week before. The FBI was reported to be on scene, a Black Hawk helicopter was spotted, local authorities were in the dark. It had the makings for a great UFO mystery. Sadly, it was revealed this past week the closure was due to an FBI investigation of child-porn (tragic stuff) on a janitor's computer. When I get my bike up and running, that part of NW will definitely be on my exploration list.

I'm a ZH reader so I seen all versions of the solar observatory article which is insane to say the least

Supposedly they found child porn on the observatories server and they think it's the night janitor of all things

why they needed a Blackhawk helo and a full military raid is beyond me

I would think arresting the night janitor on the long lonely dirt road to work would have been a lot easier, safer and less costly but I bet we haven't got the truth re this yet

PS: Roswell area TW rides would be high on my list and I'm not far away most daze

That road to Sunspot is one of the best twisty roads in the country for sportbikes....Almost no traffic, very few driveways or cross streets. I remember one summer we went up there about 7 or 8 times and someone in our group crashed on each trip there...no one hurt too bad...good times!

I was living in Roswell during the 50 year anniversary of the Incident....Seems like every nut job in the country was there...People were renting out their yards to tourists as the town was way over-crowded!

I drove through Roswell a few years ago; stopped at the museum just as they were about to close for the day. Got a T shirt before continuing on my way.

Now just go to the Ale-Inn in Rachel for a snapshot of the trifecta. Nothing like lunch on the Extra-terrestrial Highway to complete the journey. The truth is out there Mulder.

Couldn't agree more about the overkill response to the child-pornography crime. My fingers are crossed that's a bad a cover story. I think a TW recon of the area is definitely in order, sometime. The White Sands Missile Range, which is sort-of in the neighborhood, will open for a self-guided tour of the Trinity Site on April 6, 2019. I know the only thing to see is a pile of rocks. Still, given the historical significance of the place, I've long wanted to see it. The next opening will actually be Oct. 6, 218, but I will be stuck at a wedding. Since my bike is still in need of love and money to be rideable, I guess it really doesn't matter. Can't wait to get the old pony up and running. My wife is being unreasonable and has put me on a project budget; something about bills, groceries, and Christmas for the kids. Oh well.

P.S. can you enlighten me on ZH?

I have several "news" sites I like, DollarCollapse which is a great sire to lead to other sites like ZH which has a gritty edge and no holds barred speech including swear words which are my favorite lol

The group that goes to Roswell will need to have a sign in log so we'll know who's missing if they are abducted/ kidnapped by aliens. The atv maneuverability of a 2 wheel fat wheeled TW may have been overlooked by their intelligence. They might be interested in the TW after seeing proof of the invasion of them out in the desert. Time for a new t-shirt? A TW getting air off the top of a ufo
