Jeep J6 Concept -- a JL-based "Gladiator" with a 6 ft bed and compact cab!

[ Edit: The bed-mounted bar and spare tire carrier are terrible, IMO. Presumably though, even if it came that way, one could simply remove them. ]

Okay, now this I would buy. Regular cab, 6 foot bed. Imagine it with a diesel engine and manual transmission. Sadly, I doubt this will ever get made, because most people won't want the compact cab... I do wish it came with three seats in that cab, though.

Oh, by the way, this video was JUST uploaded. It actually had ZERO views, so I was the first to view it

Nothing wrong with the original Gladiator, even stock. A custom retro-build could likely be done for comparable money. glaDIATOR.jpeg

There is a JK8 conversion kit available from Jeep ($7000) to convert a 2007-2018 4 door Unlimited to a regular cab jeep pick up....assuming you could buy a very good used Unlimited with a manual transmission for $ 25000....plus the kit $7000 and the installation $2500.....minus any salvage of the Unlimited.... I suspect you could get the bed built to your needs...

So for around $35,000 you have a Regular Cab Jeep Pickup.... easy peasy…

This would look so good with a clean/simple style (get rid of stupid bar and tire in the bed):

If the bed is filled with that crap, what's the point of having the pickup over a regular LWB wrangler...? I'd rather run with no spare than have it sitting like that.
