    For new member IBDAVID...

IB, you ask good questions, give good answers and I'm glad you're here.
But, Good God, man...your avatar gives me the Screamin' Willies!
    Is that you?
    NorCal, eh?
    Anywhere near Murder Mountain?
I have an old motorcycle buddy who lives near there...I'll ask him if he knows you.
Planning a trip out there this fall, I'll buy you a beer!
If you're ever in NW Texas, stop on by...

and wad up my bike somethin' awful...
    Still, I rise!

That is a somewhat intimidating avatar.
Who knows though, IBDAVID could be as polite as good natured as Buster here:

I am a friend of the snake! Rescued this little beauty from the middle of the cold lake last November! Placed on shore in the warm sun. 20180605_065321.jpg

Fred, did you see "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs", the movie?
I assume so, but if you did not , you should.
A new high water mark for the Cohen Brothers, for sure!

Wow, just stumbled across this thread, thank you for caring! Yeah, it is pretty bad, huh?

I'm about the politest, considerate, helpful, scrawny dude with a full mouth of teeth you'd run across.

Since ya'll went out of your way to post and comment on it, I'll bag it right away!

    Better?...sorry, I couldn't resist.

    Back to an earlier question...

    Anywhere near Murder Mountain?
No, but I do live near Bloody Run Creek.

If any of you NorCal folks would like to ride in the Gold Country/Sierra Nevada's near the Downieville area, let me know.
