    Steps

I'm happy I got work as a carpenter in a 70 floor building. In the past I've worked in tall buildings and always took the stairs. Everyone called me nuts, but I was the most fit on the job.
If work that day was on 48. Then I hoofed up to the 4th floor.
I am starting slow (15 floors a day)(I'll add 5 every week until I'm caught up to my assigned floor)
The bad part when the job is complete I don't have a way to recreate the workout on my own , gym stair masters are not the same.
To be clear, it sounds like a lot but it's not that bad. There are only 18 sreps to each floor. Many buildings have 33 to 36. A floor in one building is 2 floors of another
I'm a hick from South Jersey, but I love working in the City

I used to do that on shutdowns on industrial sites. A few of of would commit to a "no elevator" shutdown. That meant climbing a few hundred steps to the penthouse of a large industrial boiler or pulp digester several times a day. That on top of 14-16 hour days would make me sleep well at night!
