I've been considering a Steinel heat gun for a variety of projects I've came up with.Any you folks have issues or praise for this brand of heat gun?.

I don't know of the name. I have a Milwaukee and it's OK. The "Master" brand was one of the big ones and IIRC, either Master bought out a bunch of the other ones-or it was the other way around. As for usage recommendations, I would have to know of what you were trying to do. HTH. OM

Steinel is a very good one....a little expensive. I've got a Master 1000/750 degree F that I've had for 30 years and it's always been very reliable. It has an adjustable stand that makes it handy to use without having to hold it. I like that feature a lot. It looks almost identical to this Bosch except it's red.

I use a Harbor Freight heat gun, only about $15, to heat up bolts that have been locktited.

It works fine for occasional use.

I think the harbor freight one is $7.99 at the moment.
