    airbike

Well, just traded off my bigger plane for an ultralight. Keeping up a full size 4place was just getting to expensive. I now have a singleplace bird to fly over the hayfields and mountains of the nw. I built a twoplace many years ago and sure like the freedom of the blue yonder. However, it will not replace the TW for the fun to go out with friends. As winter brings the rain I will not be boring holes in the sky much for a while, but sure is good for the heart to know I can on sunnydays.

Best part is that the fellow has two other planes an is happy to let me use one if I like. We are going to rebuild the one I let go and it will be great for both of us.

I know this is really off the forum, but just had to share.

Cool, I imagine that getting up there is about the same as getting out there..on the bikes, does wonders for the head.

I have always been intrigued by ultralights and the feeling of freedom you must get while flying one. How about some some pictures?

I will get some out soon. Had it up a few times just getting the feel of it. Climbs great and has an easy cruise. Almost like the TW of the sky lol.
