Today's PSA: Cookies for someone who could use them.....

Thought you might want to Know:

If you know someone selling girl Scout Cookies, you can purchase them and have them delivered to our Service Men and Women. I just Paypal-ed a few bucks to a friend in another state, his Daughter made a sale, some deserving soul got a treat, and I got the Warm and fuzzies.

°°°If you send the Paypal as a gift, you can avoid the fees.°°°

Tom "I damned sure done need any cookies" B.

That's an awesome idea. We have many friends with children of the GSC selling age...and we want to support them, but I hate having any around due to an extreme lack of self control when it comes to Thin Mints. This way we can support our friends kids efforts, and I don't have to worry about bottoming out the shocks as much haha.

    Thanks for posting.

    MMMMmmmm!!! Thin Mints. Samoas.

Many local Girl Scout Council offices have already set up programs to allow donations to active military overseas. You'll need to contact local councils directly.

One of my favorite things to do is ask the munchkins selling in front of box stores and such which kind is best, buy that kind, start to walk off, stop, tell the munchkin I'm not supposed to eat sweets, hand them back the cookies, and ask if they would be so kind as to share with their troops. The looks on their faces are PRICELESS!!

Off topic!!!!!!! Where have you been? You don't know of me, I'm sure, but some of your old posts have helped me out immeasurably. ( particularly regarding carb tuning ) Thanks for the great information! Rubber side down, Dave
