In my opinion, a lot of these bikes that are being labeled as Dual Sport bikes, are just street bikes, with agressive tires. They're using the term way to freely. Not really a decent bike for off road. Maybe a dirt road at the most. It's just to appeal to a wider market. The TW is a true Dual Sport. Not these glorified street bikes.

I could imagine all sorts of grief with two wheels up front on a bumpy dirt road, much less a trail. Which wheel do put on your desired line?

Belts and dirt don't mix. Not even capable of a gravel road without breaking a belt or cracking a sheave.

Looks like Yamaha has hired Suzuki's styling department. BARF!

All the decent engineers must have retired. We're getting a bunch of crap you'd expect from college class projects.

All flash to impress the instructor, but no substance to actually work in the real world.
