    Modding 'new' bike

Well, it's not a TW, but close. Generally I am not all that concerned with engine size, but I do give more than a little thought to symmetry. Thought I would see if I could get folks scratching their heads here before I post this on the XT225 forum. Gerry

Is that a muffler on the left side or just a creative cap for a tool tube?

Can't fool you folks.. The XT225 has a small 'tool box' mounted in that same location. Since I have a couple of retired tool tubes from when I 'lightened' up the TW, I proceeded to upgrade the XT. Then thought the bike might look more balanced if I tried to match position and angle with the exhaust. As you can see the concept went a bit further. Fun project that netted a bit more storage and a chuckle. Gerry

I took a guess that's what you did because I'd considered it before too.

Is that an extraterrestrial on Jerry's roof? Sneaking in for a closer look at that exhaust storage tube?
