I have no need or desire for a literbike myself, but I do like the classic yamaha livery though. Now all you need is a helmet with an eagle on it and you're all set.
Alternatively, you could skip the inline 4s for street use altogether, buy an Fz-09, fix the suspension and fuel mapping, keep about 4 grand in the bank (vs the R1S), and have way more performance than most riders would ever know what to do with and a humanoid seating position to boot.
I'd go for the R1M over the other two. It just kind of seems like if you're going for the flagship, you may as well buy the FLAGSHIP and be done with it - no messing about! I agree with the author's comment about the 600 being the "regular guy's street ride", compared to an R1.
