    Rear Peg Thread

Anyone have any good suggestions for rear pegs?

My wife & I share the our Tdub until I can afford a Yamaha WR450F.

My plan is to put a stiffer shock on the Tdubs rear and us search for hard to get to photography sites.

The problem I find with the stock pegs is that the rubber tends to spin around on the pegs. Not too cool for risky travel.

Any suggestions for a solid set of rear pegs?

A mod for eliminating the the rear passenger "Butt Scooch" forward would be sweet also. My nads tend to get crowded up against the tank on long trails. ha

Couldn't you shoot some silicone or glue in there to hold the rubber? Or drill a little hole and put a cotter pin in?

Procycle has rear and front springs available. I replaced my rear shock with the heavy duty spring they have and love it.

Try putting a cycle rack on it and throwing a boat cushion on it for the passenger.

I would caution against weighting the a rear cyclerack with a human body for sustained periods of rough travel. The little cross member beam that it bolts to has cracked on me twice already and I've never had a person on mine.

Cant trust the Cyclerack enough on the trails I plan on taking.

We need some SOLID grip pegs so glue & modifying the stock pegs are out of the question.

I think a wedge shaped pad is the best idea for the "scooch" issue so far.

Anyone ever tried to put the stock front pegs on the rear peg supports?

Still looking for a solution to safer rear pegs.

    Rear Peg Thread

Im in the process of taking my stock front pegs and modding them for the rear since they've been replaced with wider pegs. I will post pics when they are finished.

If you feel you can make a set of fronts work for the rear, I'll send you my old stock fronts for free.
