Basket for my front rack (homemade)

Hello my name is Mike and I am a Dumpster-Diver............Yes ,I admit it......But I do find ALOT of good stuff........Including this stainless basket that (with a little modification) fit directly on the front rack of my TDUB.....Used 6 tie-wraps to secure it so I can remove it easy enough and used pipe insulation under so it doesn't scratch the original rack.........Still can't use it at night because it blocks out the light......But hey, the price was right and it holds more than the original........0730141008-00.jpg0730141009-00.jpg0730141009-01.jpg

Very resourceful. I imagine it works well as long as load is somewhat balanced side to side.

Good idea, that will be handy.
Only a fool would attempt it, and God help me, I am that fool!
