    full exhaust

I would like to put a full exhaust on my 89. I know one isnt available but the TTR225 headpipe fits and FMF and DG make slip ons. What year of TTR head pipe fits, is it a larger diameter, does it improve power, and does it fit a TW FMF or DG slip-on? Does anyone have the weights of stock, FMF, and DG mufflers? Thanks in advance.

    Rob

All TT-R 225 does have the same header pipes.
Here's the reference, the Yamaha part number: 3RW-14611-00-00
    TT-R225 - 1999-2004
    TT225 - 1999
    XT225 - 1992 - 2007
    Source:
    3RW-14611-00-00 YAMAHA PIPE,EXHAUST L

The 225 pipe does have the same diameter, like the TW pipe.
Would it be bigger, it wouldn't fit on the TW.

The power would be different, if the shape of the pipe would be different.
But the 225 pipe does have the same shape like the TW pipe.
You can see it here in the parts catalog:
2003 TTR225 - TTR225R Yamaha Motorcycle EXHAUST Diagram and Parts

I don't have weights of these mufflers, but I had the GPR muffler and X-Racing muffler in my hands. I sure, all mufflers are round about 1 kg (or a bit more) lighter as the original muffler.

If you go to a muffler shop I am pretty sure they can make one and it would be cheap

I am a tdubber since the beginning.
The TW125 was sold the first time 1999 in Europe.
1999 I was 16 (not possible to make earlier a driver license [18 for car]) and the TW125 was my first bike. And I still have it (with some modifications )
