    My new longer pegs

First let me say this. If it wasn't for a grinder I could't weld a thing, it goes like this. Weld some, grind off some, repeat as necessary.

I ordered a pair of stock TW pegs off Ebay for $12 shipped, cut em up and added them to my existing ones for an inch and 1/4 added length.

I should have waited until today to do it and they would have come out better, as I was at the tail end of a 12 pack when UPS came.

They do look in better in person than the pics but, not much.

Went for a little test ride and they work great, on the road you can move your feet around without them slipping off the ends, still thin as stock pegs so no need for longer shifter, in the mud with muddy boots it gives more teeth to grip your boot.

Only down side is backing up or walking the bike, you gotta have a wider stance or the will bite you.

Funny how it takes awhile to adapt to something subtle like wider pegs. Might this be what shin guards were invented for?
