Installed a Viper Windscreen from Slip Stream on one of my TW200's this weekend. I slipped it down behind the plastic headlight Bezel, LOOKS GREAT and does a great job of keeping the wind blast off! Not shown in the pictures, but I cut the small bottom corners off the windsheild, where the bend in. (scored with a knife, then snapped right off) this made it easy to get to the trip odometer rest knob.

It looks like it was made for the bike! Plenty tall for me (6' tall) and installed in minutes!

That looks like a great fit. I had a Spitfire shield on my TW last winter but the install was complicated by having my bars a bit more crowded with hand guard mounts. I got the Spitfire on but the install was not nearly as tight a fit with the bezel and some wind came through the space. BTW if you are preparing for winter weather, some sort of hand guard will keep that wind off your hands. Enjoy the screen. Tom

Windshield looks nice. I see you have a skid cap. All you need now is assless chaps.

All chaps are assless as far as I can tell, the difference is whether or not you have pants on over your matching leather thong!

This is my first post. I have just received a 2007 TW from my brother and want to put a wind screen on it about like the one shown.

Have you riden it much with the wind screen on? Do you have any fluttering or vibration of the wind screen at any highway speeds? What was the cost of this one?

I had to wear ear plugs before, because of all the noise around my helmet (I wear a half cap) and now it is much better. I dont think you can fit a windshield larger than this one on a TW and it still look like a TW. I have only ridden it a few days, but the windshield is stable in the brackets. This one is 17" tall from the black trim at the bottom of the windshield (see pictures), So that puts it very close to to 17" above the top of existing headlight fairing.

They cost over $100.00 from Slipstream.

How far up does it deflect the wind? I also noticed that you do not have handlebar risers. I wonder if it would still fit behind the fairing with the risers? And i'm stealing your thread

I ordered a Viper windshield from Powersports Superstore because of the above article. It cost $78.74, + I added an o-ring chain and a JT 47T sprocket and an extra master link-the shipping for all was $14.99. Ordered on1/20/12 and received on 1/27/12. Installed the windshield in about 15-20 minutes on my new-to-me 2009 TW 200(no risers)-have ridden about 50 miles, up to about 60 mph with winds up to 15-20 mph in 40-50 degree temps- windshield is steady as a rock and takes all of the wind and cold effect off my chest and head-could tell no difference in the bike's handling compared to w/o the windshield-also it looks good! I will not be removing this windshield!!
