4.5" Bates knockoff. You'd be insane to pay more than 50 bucks for one. How many would you like? Standard chopper item, come in side mount or bottom mount, 3 different diameters for at least the last 50 years or so.

A C-note should get you a REAL Bates.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Powdercoated '87 frame, extended swingarm, YZ fork legs, ATV tire, 14/55, XT350 tank, spliced quick-release seat, disc brake conversion, beeg headlight, beeger rack, Lizrdcooler, Lizrdventz and bunch of other stuff all covered in invisible ink.

Those are Kitaco headlight including bracket, specially designed for TW

I can get Taiwanese made headlight too, price should be around $20 but no gurarantee about chrome quality though

Why do TW owners are so different from HD ones there? never heard about ppl who practiced customization to save money in Sturgis or at the Bike Week in Daytona beach

    cheers

I've nothing against you trying to make a buck, but that's the same $20 headlight, minus the chrome. In fact most of them are the same headlight with the chrome painted right over.

Any chopper shop in America has buckets of them. The better shops have actual Bates items. Neither cost as much as importing them.

    Hi

please understand that I just cannot subscribe to your theory that pretends that TW owners in the US are only poor ppl who need to make their own custom parts because they can't afford Japanese ones.

I've worked with this country for years and I got customers in rural areas from "poor" states like LA or NM, it's obvious that most of my customers are located in FL or SoCal because of the weather that allows them to ride longer than northern states TW owners but it doesn't mean they're richer or something.

They just buy Japanese parts because they like them, that's all, it's just a question of choice, nothing else, they know they can find Bates in the States.

I had neighbors who were into muscle cars from the 70's when I was in Fl and they were mostly average americans who saved some bucks to fix their SS every sunday, please don't think you need to be rich to practice cutomization in the states.

    Have a great day.
