Is it possible to put a car/trailer tire on the stock tw rear rim? I know i could find one that will clear the swingarm and chain, but im weary that the shape of the bead on a car tire will be too thick. If anyone has tried mounting one any tips would help, or if anyone has any insight it would be much appreciated.

    Bad plan.

You can get away with darksiding an ATV tire if you're careful, but the bead on an automotive tire is too substantial.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Powdercoated '87 frame, extended swingarm, YZ fork legs, ATV tire, 14/55, XT350 tank, spliced quick-release seat, disc brake conversion, beeg headlight, beeger rack, Lizrdcooler, Lizrdventz and bunch of other stuff all covered in invisible ink.

How funny is it that we posted that at the same time! All that came to mind when I read DDavis' post is your bighorn with a huge gash in it!

    Two more newer DOT options:

    4 ply street

    6 ply dirt ...it's a 9" though

and then there is the 8" Motogrip , which I'm still not sure if anyone had tried yet?
