    Rear shock for TW

This looks like a fancy rear shock for the TW and the price seems right. $73.99 Anyone ever try one?

Funny you should post that. I just asked last night over in performance in customization if anyone had tried these. They are listed under banchee shocks if u search. Nobody has said a word, hopefully you have better luck. Im definitely into getting one if it can work and improve the dismal stocker.

    C'mon guys...get real!
$73.99 and other similar prices from other vendors, free shipping.
Designed to look like a hi-end shock, but wait...the deal gets much better!
That price is for 2 of these, a pair! And 2 wrenches!
No instructions or set-up or tuning info.
Does that really sound like something you want on your bike?
A breaking or exploding shock can kill you, amigos!
If you do this, take care of your family and make sure your hospitalization and life insurance is up to date.
    Please guys...don't do it.

    Hey Tony,

If you lob out a lowball offer (i.e., not more than $50) and it is accepted, I'll split the cost with you for one of them. If it turns out to be crap, it might make a nice lamp!

I imagine the spring and damping rates would be way soft
Those shocks are set up to be used in pairs. Using one is asking one shock to do the job of two

From the old thread with the real banshee shock, the original spring and a custom spacer supposedly made it workable.

    Brian,

Some how I bet the price is for only one shock even though they pictured two. However, if it is for two shocks and they do accept a low ball offer like $50 you got a deal. Reports to follow.
