    Another New Shinko 241 Fan

I just put a Shinko 241 on my new 2017 TW200. I took the wheel and the tire to a local Honda dealer and they did it for $25.00 without a scratch on the rim. Just pushing the bike across the floor of my basement I could feel a difference - much smoother and less rolling resistance than the stock tire. I didn't get it out in the rough stuff as I haven't even broken in the engine yet, but I felt a lot more confident cornering
on loose gravel with that tire compared to the original. On the road it is much smoother and better handling than the original tire.

Thank you to all of you that have recommended the 241. i had never even heard of Shinko until this forum. What a great improvement! I wish they made a rear wheel version. Anything close?

Nope – the stock rear is pretty good in most situations – certainly as good as the 241

    Thanks for the update …..

Maybe we could petition shinko into making us a 241 style rear tire.

I think a rear 241 would be smoother riding on hard surfaces than the original yet still provide good traction off road. Maybe someday.....

I think the knobs and gaps on a rear tire version should be scaled up in size for good off road but still good for street.
