    Welcome to the forum!

Not sure exactly what you mean by the same end bolt because there is no stock end bolt unless i'm not following you. If you get aftermarket you will have to cut the end off of your throttle tube, at least I did, mine came with a closed end throttle tube, yours may differ but not too likely is my guess.

If your talking aftermarket guards, my bolts were long enough..

Are bar end mirrors a good choice for a dual purpose bike? I would think that it would put them out into harms way, unless you're building a street only version.

You are probably right, I shouldn't expand the width of the bike, I just didn't like the stock mirrors that much.
I live in the NE woods, so grip end mirrors are not a good idea.
hey, thanks for getting back to me. Never in a blog before. This one seems really good.

That could also depend on how much you weigh.. Wide may be good!

Ha, yes. Fortunately I have been loosing weight, down to 180, from 199, and shrinking 5 10 from 6 ft.
This is what happens when you get old.

I like the folding dual sport mirrors.
Needs an adapter to fit on a TW.

Bar and mirrors, dont drop the bike.

If a bike is plated, it's suppose to be ridden, not hauled on a trailer.
