We will be moving shortly and I will no longer be able to have a trickle charger on the TW. I will be stuck removing the battery to charge it (either a single battery or keep a 2nd one on a trickle charger to replace it with). I was looking at the Ballistic Performance EVO2 Motorcycle Battery Quick Disconnect Kit and was wondering if there are other options available. I thought about just cutting out the battery terminal cables so I could just loosen the battery terminal bolt and slide the cable off the batter to remove it for charging. Any other ideas out there?

Will a solar battery charger be an option for you? Motosport has one by Battery Tender for $75 has one by Battery Tender for $75

I think I've read about the Ballistic stuff frying batteries. Wish I could remember where. Most likely here or ADV.

You could yank the main fuse out from under the side cover Zero battery drain then. If the rest of the electrical system is stock.
